Tragic accident on S7 near Nidzica. Road to Warsaw completely blocked.

The tragedy occurred on July 27, just after 5 a.m., on the S7 section between Nidzica and Napierki, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. As a result of the collision between a passenger car and a truck, three people died and one was injured.

Two adults and a child died at the scene, and another child was taken to hospital.

According to Grzegorz Modzelewski of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the delays on the route are expected to last until approximately 8:00 a.m. Emergency services and technicians are on site, securing the area and collecting evidence.

Following the accident, the roadway towards Warsaw was completely blocked. Therefore, detours are recommended. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
