On April 19 this year, the Lublin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) announced that the Lublin Voivode had issued a decision on a permit for the implementation of a road investment (ZRID) for the construction of the second carriageway of the Kock and Wola Skromowska bypass along the S19 road, approximately 8 km long.

They will build the second carriageway of the bypass for over PLN 183 million. It should be ready in May 2026.

The single-lane bypass was built in 2011 and was the first expressway in the Lublin province . However, it was designed with the later construction of a second lane in mind, which should be ready in May 2026.
