A shopping center is on fire in the Irkutsk region.

The fire engulfed the entire second floor of the shopping center, the post stated.

A shopping center in Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk Oblast, caught fire. Telegram news channels reported the incident.

"A shopping center is on fire in Usolye-Sibirskoye. The 'Chameleon' shopping center in the Privokzalny district has caught fire," according to a post on the Telegram channel Mash. The fire has completely engulfed the building's second floor. Three firefighting teams are reportedly on the scene.

The fire started before the shopping center opened. It is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the wiring and heating equipment.

Several major fires have been reported in Russia recently. Recently, a warehouse containing office supplies caught fire in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, burning for approximately 1,000 square meters. At least 19 firefighters and four pieces of equipment, including a high-altitude fire truck, responded to the scene.
