Dmitry Demeshin supervises the construction of the border crossing at Bolshoy Ussuriysky

The Governor of Khabarovsk Krai met with the head of Rosgranstroy Gennady Bezlobenko.

Khabarovsk Krai Governor Dmitry Demeshin held a working meeting with the head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosgranstroy Gennady Bezlobenko. The agenda included the construction of a checkpoint on Bolshoy Ussuriysky as part of the implementation of the concept of joint development of the island with China, as well as the launch of a new international terminal at Khabarovsk Airport.
Having headed Khabarovsk Krai, Dmitry Demeshin set a course for the systematic growth of the region's economic potential. Realizing that it is impossible to achieve advanced indicators without opening new enterprises and deploying large-scale projects, the governor focuses on the development of new promising areas. Thus, having secured the support of President Vladimir Putin, he personally supervises the progress of work on Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island, in particular, the construction of a border crossing, the launch of which will allow for the establishment of convenient logistics for business and ensure an accelerated influx of investment into the region. This territory has been idle for many years, and meanwhile, its active development can give a new impetus to the development of the region. Dmitry Demeshin is discussing this and other issues today with relevant leaders.
The creation of the checkpoint at Bolshoy Ussuriyskoye has already begun: a land plot has been registered as the property of the region, and a project for an access road and a fill site has been prepared.
“To ensure the smooth operation of the border crossing, it is necessary to build a road more than four kilometers long, carry out work to fill the land for construction, create a utility infrastructure and connect communication lines,” said Dmitry Demeshin.
Gennady Bezlobenko personally inspected the facility and discussed the technical details of the project with the contractor. Following the inspection, they managed to reach agreements on further cooperation in synchronizing all work.
In addition, the opening of the new international terminal of the Khabarovsk airport was the subject of discussion between the governor and the head of Rosgranstroy. Gennady Bezlobenko confirmed that the facility is ready to receive passengers - it remains to choose a suitable date for the official launch.
