DMM denies claims of PKK sabotage in forest fires!

In a statement made on DMM's social media account, it was stated that the posts in question were an example of disinformation. The statement stated that the context of the content was distorted, it was old and was intentionally circulated.
"PROVOCATION IS UNACCEPTABLE"
The statement included the following statements:
"Producing provocations over forest fires, targeting state institutions while disasters that are still being brought under control continue, and making irresponsible statements that will cause panic in society are completely unacceptable in the eyes of the public conscience and the law."
"SHARES ARE FOR THE YEAR OF 2020"
In the investigations, it was determined that the visual and text presented as evidence for the claims were dated October 10, 2020 , and were taken from an illegal site called Nuçe Ciwan, which makes propaganda for a terrorist organization. The statement emphasized that these contents have no connection with the current fires.
"EVERY POSSIBILITY OF SABOTAGE IS BEING INVESTIGATED"
DMM stated that the state acts with a zero tolerance principle in the fight against terrorism and that all sabotage possibilities, including forest fires, are being meticulously investigated. The statement included the following warning:
"Using claims that are not based on any concrete evidence into political fodder is a disinformation practice that is at least as dangerous as the fires themselves."
CALL TO CITIZENS
DMM invited citizens to question the reliability of the source of the content they encounter on social media and to verify the date and context of the images shared. It was also reminded that posts made outside of official institution statements should be evaluated with caution.
