Doğmaz, who was determined to have suffered a heart attack, could not be saved despite all interventions. The sudden death of the sergeant, who became a father three days before his death, has saddened his loved ones.

Following the funeral prayer held at the Çiğdemlik Mosque in the Gültepe Neighborhood of the İskenderun district, Doğmaz was buried with prayers at the Muhlis Ali Cemetery in the Belen district.
