Worrying outbreak in the Turkish Grand National Assembly: More than 100 people applied to the hospital

The health complaints that have increased in the last two days in the Turkish Grand National Assembly ( TBMM ) have created anxiety. More than 100 people, including members of parliament, applied to the Parliament Hospital with complaints of diarrhea, vomiting and severe weakness.

SAMPLES WERE TAKEN FROM THE FOOD: NO FINDINGS OF POISONING WERE FOUND

Making a statement on the issue, TBMM Support Services Presidency officials stated that the samples taken from the Assembly cafeteria were examined and that no findings that could lead to poisoning were found in the analysis results.

PRESIDENTIAL OFFICIALS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

"No problems were detected in our food. However, in our meeting with the Ankara Provincial Health Directorate, we were informed that there was a serious epidemic throughout the city."

USE OF PURIFIED WATER INSTEAD OF BOTTLE BOTTLE INCREASED SUSPICIONS

On the other hand, some Parliament staff suggested that the health problems experienced may be water-related. In recent weeks, as part of the savings measures, the use of bottled water in Parliament teahouses has been stopped and purified water has been used.
