TUGFO returned home with great experience and success.

The orchestra's soloist at the Bursa Merinos Cultural Center, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Prague's Smetana Halla, and Vienna MuTh was the young pianist Ilyun Bürkev. Bürkev, who performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the orchestra's impressive accompaniment, responded to the enthusiastic applause he received with encores by Chopin and Saygun. At the same concerts, young composer Cem Esen's Sarscam was also performed. This composition, perfectly suited to TUGFO, comprised of young people aged 16-22 studying at conservatories, was enjoyed by both the musicians and the audience of all ages who filled the halls. All concerts began with Britten's Between the Four Seas from Peter Grimes's opera, played with great unity by the orchestra, and concluded with Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. The high level achieved abroad after a month of masterclasses and domestic concerts was, in one word, "wundebar/miraculous" as the German audience put it.
At TUGFO's Victory Day concert on August 30th at the Laodikeia Ancient Theatre in Denizli, cellist Elifsu Yalın Popper performed soloist; at the Bratislava Radio Concert Hall, flutist Ayben Sever played Bizet/Borne; and cellist Azra Liznak Bruch played pieces that conveyed their positive enthusiasm to the audience, making the orchestra proud. At TUGFO's special concert in Istanbul on September 9th, the soloist will be Ada Yalın Yücel, who alternates with Ada Tezel as concertmaster. The young star will perform Lalo's "Symphonie Espognale" violin concerto.
Ilyun Bürkev, who has received enthusiastic applause at every concert he performed, especially at the Elbphilharmonie, expressed his great luck by saying, "Playing in different concert halls in different countries, with different acoustics, felt like playing the same piece for the first time, even though it was the same piece. Every time we rehearse and perform, we learn something new, we discover a new detail we really enjoy. This tour has added so much to me in a positive way. It's never been monotonous. Playing in these halls, accompanied by TUGFO under the baton of Cem Mansur, at the age of 16, is incredibly valuable to me."
Cem Mansur, the architect of this miracle, said, "Nearly one hundred percent of conservatory graduates, whose instrumental skills are generally very high, will pursue orchestration. This needs to be taught with the highest expectations. The key is to motivate and empower them. TUGFO makes this possible. This year, we've seen a particularly harmonious and curious group of young people who constantly want to learn come together. No one was here for a touristic trip. The mutual energy at every concert has been incredibly satisfying. Despite all the challenges, we're so glad we're undertaking this project." He emphasized his satisfaction with the achievement of the goal.
