Armed crime organization dismantled in Istanbul! 17 detained, including the leader of the organization

In the operation conducted against the armed criminal organization, proceedings were carried out for the crimes of 'plunder' and 'deprivation of liberty' . In the operations carried out, a total of 17 people, including the leader of the criminal organization, were detained. 15 of the 17 suspects who were detained were arrested by the court they were brought before.
An investigation was launched by the Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Bureau of the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office upon allegations that an armed criminal organization in Istanbul was forcibly collecting taxes by beating and detaining people.

The prosecutor's office's referral document stated that the suspects had been living in the same neighborhoods for many years and knew each other through kinship and old friendships. It was determined that the members of the organization continued to act together despite being prosecuted for many crimes. In the investigation, it was determined that the organization organized meetings under the name of "community" and decided to put pressure on the victims, collect money by force and use violence in these meetings. It was revealed that the suspects intimidated the victims by using methods such as assault and force. It was determined that the members of the organization committed crimes such as "deprivation of liberty" and "aggravated plunder" while armed.
15 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
The judgeship ruled that 15 of the suspects be arrested.
