There are two options for celebrating Mother's Day in a dignified way: face the busiest restaurants of the year - and many refuse to make reservations - or get into the kitchen, protecting the person who is usually your biggest customer from this task. If this is your choice, here is an easy recipe to make that can be multiplied to exactly the same size as the number of diners.

Ingredients (six servings):
- 1kg ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 700g tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 300g lasagna pasta, broken into pieces
- chopped parsley, mint and basil
- 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- salt and black pepper
- Heat oil in a large frying pan and sauté the meat for four minutes, or until cooked through.
- Add onion, sauté until soft, add tomato sauce, water and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the lasagna noodles over the sauce, mix gently, add chopped parsley, mint and basil.
- Cover the pan and cook for approximately 20 minutes, stirring constantly until the pasta is cooked.
- Finish with the Mozzarella, keeping the pan closed until the cheese melts.

Ending 22 years of work here in this space is not easy.
