Reports outline the cultural landscape of RS

Every Friday, Jornal do Comércio publishes a major cultural report in the Viver section. Since May 2018, the space has been bringing in-depth texts on the canon of local and Brazilian culture, as well as special articles on topics such as visual arts, cinema, literature, music and architecture.
Memory also has its place, as in the reports about the months in which singer João Gilberto lived in Porto Alegre, the trajectory of the Renner football team and the story of the "great-grandmother" of nightclubs in the capital.
There was no shortage of reports on musicians such as Renato Borghetti - who opened the series -, Telmo de Lima Freitas and Elis Regina, and texts dealing with the life and work of writers, such as Erico Verissimo, Josué Guimarães and Sergio Faraco.
There is room for traditionalism, MPB and gaucho rock, as in the report on the band Os Replicantes. Not to mention the historical heritage, such as texts about the houses of Pelotas, and articles showing the projects of architects Theodor Wiederspahn, José Lutzenberger and Fernando Corona.
