A missile from a Dutch F-35 fighter jet accidentally damaged a residential building in Poland during an anti-drone operation.
On the night of September 10, dozens of drones violated Polish airspace, some of which were shot down during a defensive operation. Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the incident as unprecedented and accused Russia of provocation.
Initial reports indicated that damage to a residential building in the village of Wyryki (Lublin Voivodeship) was caused by a missile fired by a Polish F-16 fighter jet while repelling an attack by Russian drones. However, a new investigation by Onet revealed that the building was damaged by a missile fired by a Dutch F-35 aircraft participating in allied operations to destroy the drones.
