A tenant who had a fight with his landlord in Adana lost his life after a while, and now the house of the landlord who caused the death has burned down.
On August 29th, 70-year-old Hüseyin Başak, who was assaulted by his landlord Yener Rüzgar and his wife Nurhan Rüzgar in the Kozan district of Adana, fainted and died at home. The fight, which reportedly started over a 500 TL chat fee and ended in death, led to the teacher Yener Rüzgar and his wife Nurhan Rüzgar being arrested and sent to prison.
Tonight, a house on Savruk Plateau belonging to the Rüzgar family was engulfed in flames for an as yet unknown reason. The blaze, which illuminated the night, was brought under control before it could spread to the forested area by three sprinklers from the Kozan Forest Management Directorate and firefighters from the Kozan Municipality. The prosecutor has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
