Noticing no one was there, the suspect entered and headed for the cash register. The suspect limped into the restaurant, checking the safe and drawers one by one. Finding the safe empty, the suspect opened other drawers and found a wallet. The wallet, containing $1,000 and 10,000 lira, was taken and quickly walked away. Realizing he had left the drawer unclosed, the suspect returned and closed it. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
